GV Razor Underground Grader – Ventico Australia

The GV Razor Underground Grader is Ventico Australia’s flagship solution for high-performance underground grading. Built tough for the extreme demands of mining environments, the GV Razor combines serious power, rugged engineering, and a compact low-profile design to deliver outstanding performance and reliability in confined underground spaces.

Powered by the proven CAT 3306 PCNA engine, the GV Razor delivers 112 kW of reliable output through a heavy-duty 4-speed transmission. For operations seeking enhanced performance and future-focused compliance, Ventico offers an optional C7.1 Diesel Emission System (DES) engine package — fully compliant for Queensland mining and coming soon for New South Wales certification.

The C7.1 engine upgrade increases power output to up to 129 kW, meets Tier 3 emissions standards, and produces significantly cleaner exhaust. Thanks to the advanced emissions filtration of the DES, the required underground ventilation rates are reduced, helping to create a safer and healthier work environment while also lowering ventilation-related operational costs.

The GV Razor is built to handle the toughest conditions with an operational weight of 23,000 kg and a tractive effort of 12 tonnes. Its wide 3668 mm moldboard blade, full 80° rotation each way, and extensive side shift and center shift capabilities ensure operators can perform precise, efficient grading even in tight headings and restricted spaces.

Safety is engineered into every machine. The GV Razor features a Type 2 DES system, dual SAHR emergency/secondary brakes, a SEMS-3 safety circuit, and full compliance with industry standards including MDG-1, MDG-17, MDG-40, MDG-41, AS 2958.2, ISO 3471 (ROPS), ISO 3449 (FOPS), AS 3800, AS 3584, and IECEx requirements.

A minimum cab height of just 1900 mm ensures superior underground maneuverability, helping operators maximize performance in restricted mining environments.
