The DB QDS Mobile Bolter is the ultimate secondary support solution for underground coal mining operations. Designed for maximum strength and reliability, it features heavy-duty construction to withstand harsh underground conditions, with a generous 2.7 m x 2.3 m platform footprint and a total weight of 4450 kg. Fitted with a QDS hitch to suit Eimco LHDs or similar machines, the DB QDS Mobile Bolter delivers flexibility, safety, and superior performance underground.

Engineered for versatility, the bolter can be fitted with your choice of drilling rigs (JOY, Sandvik, or equivalent) and controlled through your preferred valve bank (JOY, Rexroth, or similar). Advanced rotary actuators allow for 115° vertical rotation and 180° horizontal rotation, giving operators full drilling and bolting coverage across the FACE, RIB, and ROOF.

The DB QDS Mobile Bolter features a fully internal hydraulic power unit, powered by the LHD’s PTO via a hydraulic motor rated for up to 250 LPM. This design isolates the LHD hydraulics from contamination, back pressure, and overheating risks, significantly improving machine life and system reliability.

Customisable consumable storage, bolt and plate racks, dolly holders, and chemical compartments are available, allowing you to configure the platform exactly to your operational needs.
