At the heart of the TV Drover is the Ventico C4.4 Diesel Emission System (DES) — a cutting-edge, explosion-protected power solution designed to meet and exceed today’s strict underground compliance standards. Featuring a passive Catalysed Diesel Particulate Filter (CDPF), the system delivers class-leading emissions control, helping reduce mine ventilation demands while maintaining peak engine performance and worker safety.

The C4.4 DES provides up to 95 kW of power and is engineered for improved serviceability, reliability, and lower long-term operating costs. Its “turbo-in-a-box” design and advanced flame traps are built for zero-reportable operation, with no requirement for specialist servicing skills.
For added protection and real-time diagnostics, the TV Drover is fitted with the SEMS 3 engine management system — an IECEx-certified control platform that improves safety, shutdown control, and feesback to the operator through simplified monitoring and intelligent fault handling.

The TV Drover’s heavy-duty chassis can be configured to transport 12 to 14 personnel, with optional rear modules including flat trays, utility trays, and equipment carriers. The vehicle’s modular design allows for simple adaptation across fleets and tasks, ensuring full site integration and long-term fleet value.
